SEVEN PEOPLE ARE NOW IN CUSTODY IN CONNECTION TO THE SEARCH FOR MYA TUCKER. HER PARENTS WERE ARRESTED OVER THE WEEKEND WITH ANOTHER MAN. THE GIRLS GRANDMOTHER AND GRANDFATHER WERE ALSO ARRESTED AND YESTERDAY STATE POLICE ARRESTED MYA’S OTHER GRANDPARENTS. ACCORDING TO POLICE, MAYA’S THREE BROTHERS AND SISTERS WERE LIVING WITH THEM. THE KIDS WERE REMOVED BY THE CABINET OF COMMUNITY BASED SERVICES

Two more arrests have been made amid the search for 8-month-old Miya Rudd (also referred to as Miya Tucker), bringing the total arrests to seven. Kentucky State Police first sent out a notice of the missing Ohio County baby on Thursday, June 6. Miya was last suspected to be under the care of her parents, Cage Rudd, 30, and Tesla Tucker, 29. Rudd and Tucker were both arrested after a search/welfare check of their house.Over the weekend, Miya's grandmother and grandfather, Billie and Ricky Smith, were arrested. Another man, Timothy Roach, of Owensboro, was also arrested, but his connection to the family is unclear.On Wednesday, KSP said they arrested Miya's other grandparents. KSP said they executed a search warrant of the home of Taletha Tucker, 50, and David Tucker, 53, on Wednesday in Owensboro. They seized the grandparent's electronics and both were arrested. Taletha Tucker is charged with Fugitive from Another State (Indiana) and David Tucker was arrested for a non-payment warrant. According to KSP, Tesla Tucker's three kids, Miya's siblings, were living with them. The kids were removed by the Cabinet of Community Based Services to another location. Both grandparents were taken to Daviess County Detention Center, said police. On Tuesday, before this latest arrest, KSP said they began using K9 cadaver dogs to search for Miya at a Reynolds Station cemetery. Police said because of lack of evidence, they do not have a reason to believe she is dead.
